Funded under the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, AT-VIRTUAL will improve the operability and performance of Maritime Safety Training Centres (MSTCs) in the Atlantic Area (AA) by enabling businesses to develop emerging technology-based solutions to MSTCs needs in the field of simulation-based training systems for maritime security operations. This will improve capacity, preparedness, resilience and incident response to maritime incidents and emergencies in Atlantic waters, while fostering innovation and sustainable growth in businesses. -
Circular Seas
Funded under the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, Circular Seas will develop a process for the recycling and 3D printing of ocean plastic waste, in the context of manufacturing green products for maritime industries and businesses e.g. port operations and recreational nautical activities. -
SkillSea
Funded under the ERASMUS+ programme SKILLSEA fosters cooperation on a European level between the industry, education & training providers and authorities to develop a strategy to make the education and training for maritime professionals future proof, adaptable and attractive, to provide maritime professionals with the correct skills for the labour market and to ensure sustainability of the European maritime industry. -
ARCSAR
Funded under the Horizon 2020 programme ARCSAR sets out to establish the first formal Arctic and North Atlantic Security and Emergency Preparedness network. The network will be primarily for professionals operating within these regions which include; border control, law enforcement, coast guards and emergency professionals. -
MEDEA
Funded under the Horizon 2020 programme MEDEA will develop a practitioner's network which will promote capacity building for effective response to emerging security challenges in the Eastern Mediterranean. -
ONBOARD
Funded under the ERASMUS+ programme ONBOARD focuses on the development of technical profiles and training curricula for the ports and logistics sector, with the intention to design & validate an apprenticeship model for the sector. -
CAMELOT
Funded under the Horizon 2020 programme CAMELOT (C2 Advanced Multi-Domain Environment & Live Observation Technologies) aims to integrate surveillance & security systems across blue borders to improve effectiveness & efficiency. -
ENTROPI
Funded under the European Maritime & Fisheries Fund, the ENTROPI (Enabling Technologies & Roadmaps for Offshore Platform Innovation) project will target investment to address critical challenges along the value chain supporting multi-use platforms. Such platforms have already been identified as a Key Enabling Technology (KET) and three FP7 projects (TROPOS,H2OCEAN and MERMAID) have explored preliminary platform concepts and feasibility. -
SEDNA
Funded under the Horizon 2020 programme SEDNA (Safe Maritime Operations Under Extreme Conditions) will develop an innovative and integrated risk-based approach to safe Arctic navigation, ship design and operation. -
EUCISE2020
Funded under the FP7 programme EU CISE (Common Information Sharing Environment) focuses on increasing the efficiency, quality, responsiveness and coordination of surveillance operations in the European Union. -
SYNCHRO-NET
Funded under the Horizon 2020 programme SYNCHRO-NET focuses on developing cost-effective robust solutions that de-stress supply chains to reduce emissions and costs for logistics operations while simultaneously increasing reliability and service levels for logistics users.
