Open Call to Maritime Stakeholders – Circular Seas

The Halpin Centre for Research & Innovation at the National Maritime College of Ireland will host an introductory workshop to the circular economy & 3D printing as part of their EU Interreg Atlantic Area funded Circular Seas project. The Halpin team are calling especially on people from the maritime recreation, fishing/aquaculture and port sectors to join a stakeholder group as part of the project. These stakeholders will be invited to participate in 2 further workshops taking place in May and June 2020. The Circular Seas project brings partners together from Ireland, Spain, UK, France & Portugal with the aim of developing a process for the recycling and 3D printing of ocean plastic waste, more specifically with a view to creating new products for use in the maritime sector. This is an introductory workshop and is open to anyone who may be interested in this topic. Places are limited so registration is essential. For further information and to register for the workshop contact Niall Curran in NMCI on +353 21 4335717 or via email
